Community. Advocacy. Environment.
Southern Highlands Matters is a not-for-profit, apolitical community association committed to protecting the identity, lifestyle, and natural beauty of our region. We work collaboratively with experts, residents, and government bodies to create a thriving and sustainable Southern Highlands.
About
Southern Highlands Matters evolved in Dec 2024 as a result of a united campaign with the Southern Highlands residents to be heard and to stop Plasrefine (now rebranded as Repoly).
It was evident we needed to establish a group to future support all of the Southern Highlands.

Protecting the Highlands is not only an ecological necessity — it is a moral, cultural, and economic imperative.
